PHOTO CONTEST RULES

PHOTO CATEGORIES:  Fruits and Veggies, Landscapes, Blooming Flower(s), Garden Shots

DEADLINE:  Entries may be submitted at anytime, but must be received no later than NOVEMBER 1, 2013.

PHOTOS:  You retain ownership of the image but, by submitting your image, you are agreeing to allow J. W. Jung Seed Co. the rights to alter, crop, resize, combine with other images and display the image, whole or in part, on our website or in any printed material.  Images may be submitted digitally through our website or by mail.  Mailed photos will not be returned.  There is no limit to the number of images you submit, but only one photo per person can win.

JUDGING:  Each category listed above will be viewed by preliminary judges.  A $50 Jung Gift Certificate will be awarded for first place and a $25 Jung Gift Certificate for second place.  The top two from every category will go on to be judged by J.W. Jung Seed Co. Owner/President and Horticulturist, Dick Zondag.  The overall winner will be awarded a $100 Jung Gift Certificate and the runner up will receive a $50 Jung Gift Certificate.  Decisions of the judges are final.

NOTIFICATION:  Only winners will be notified by email the week of December 2, 2013.  After they have been notified, the results will be posted in the Photo Gallery on our website.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR PHOTOS

First, you must set up an account on the Jung Seed website if you don’t already have one. It’s easy to do and takes only a few minutes. Once your account is set up and after you have logged in, you will see a link on the left side of your screen called ‘UPLOAD PHOTOS’. Click on the link and follow the simple directions. Include the name of the Jung product(s) either in the image title or in the description. Please specify in the ‘Notes to Jung’ box which category your photo is being submitted for.

If you do not have a digital camera and want to enter a photo, you may mail it in so it arrives before the deadline date and we will scan it and enter it for you. Send to:
