One of the most cold-hardy English walnuts. Originating in the mountains of Poland, this dual-purpose tree bears a fine crop of delicious walnuts. Flavorful nutmeats, thin shelled and easy to crack, equal English walnuts in quality. Has about the same hardiness as peaches and is not recommended for extreme northern locations. Should begin bearing in 8 to 10 years.
