An heirloom apple brought to the "New World" by the French shortly after 1600. The Snow Apple is known for its tender, aromatic, spicy-flavored snow-white flesh often streaked or stained red. The skin is brilliant red. Fruit stores well. The tree is hardy and productive with some resistance to apple scab. Ripens in September.
