For something unusual and delicious try this unique white-fleshed peach. Called 'Peento Peaches' in China where they've been grown for centuries, the 2-1/2 inch diameter doughnut-shaped fruits are very sweet and juicy with a distinctive mild flavor. The ornamental trees are covered with bright pink blooms in spring followed by heavy crops of reddish-orange freestone peaches that ripen in mid to late summer.
