Flowering Cabbage & Kale
The ideal annuals for late summer garden color. Cabbage-like plants grow 8 to 12 inches or more across with frilled, waved and lacy leaves that take on vibrant shades of red, pink and white as cool weather sets in. The colorful display lasts until November and even through winter in milder climates. Dramatic in beds, borders and containers. Can also be used for a gourmet garnish. For best color sow in late June for color in 3 to 3-1/2 months.
