(PVP) A standard in Europe where the baby French style is popular. The small-leaf bushes yield huge quantities of slim dark green 4 inch pods concentrated in the upper half of the bush for easy picking. The flavor and tender stringless pods are exceptionally good. Has excellent disease resistance. White seeded. About 180 seeds per ounce.

If you haven't tried this bean you are really missing out. Masai is more work to pick because the beans are so small, but they are so good that they are worth the trouble. You don't even have to cut them, just snap off the stem end and cook them whole. They have lots of beans on them and you can wait several days between pickings as they don't get too ripe too fast. I usually grow Blue Lake S-7 pole beans, but next year I think I will just put in another row of these. They are like pole beans in that they keep producing if you keep picking them.
