Reigns supreme in quality, earliness and productiveness. Large green spears are tender and flavorful from top to bottom. This predominately all-male hybrid can be harvested a full year earlier than open-pollinated strains. Has very good rust resistance and is noted for its tolerance to fusarium.

I ordered both Jersey Supreme and Jersey Knight in 2013. All my plants came up right away and I was surprised to see spears so quickly. Now in their second season, all plants survived the winter and I have had asparagus for dinner twice now. Very pleased with my Jung crowns. I hope to add another bed of asparagus soon!

I planted 8 plants and none of them have sprouted. This was a waste of money! * Admin Notes added 5/15/2014 3:46:55 PM: Please report any problems to our customer service department. We're happy to help our customers.

I am growing them in one 4x8x12 raised bed. I took the time to add lots of compost as i mixed my sandy NJ soil in the bed. I feed it every spring. In year two i had a wonderful 1 month crop then I let it grow over. I am looking for an even better year 3.
