A gorgeous heirloom introduced in 1930. The 3 to 4 inch flowers are intense navy-blue with a fuchsia star center. Ideal for fences and trellises or grow as a groundcover. Ht. 8 to 10 foot vine. (DS-SI) This variety may be sown directly in the garden, but for earlier bloom can be started indoors 4-8 weeks prior to planting outside - after danger of frost has passed.
