This French filet style green bean has pods so thin they are called a shoestring-type. Early bearing, extremely productive plants will have you picking the 5 to 6 inch, fine fleshed, exquisitely flavored pods by the handful. This variety can be sown indoors in small pots and then transplanted outside to get a head-start on the season. The white seeds are very small, averaging 250 seeds in an ounce.
