An improved selection of this striking native grass. Bright gray-blue spiky foliage turns red-orange in the fall. In late summer, fluffy silvery seedheads appear. Its narrow, upright habit makes it an attractive addition to beds and borders. Hardy and tough, it thrives in hot, dry areas where other plants cannot survive. Grows 30 to 36 inches tall and up to 24 inches wide. Emerges late in spring.
