Zones 2-7 The hardiest and finest of all tamarisk varieties. The loose, open plants will grow 8 to 10 feet tall, but can be trimmed to a lower height. Foliage is dense and feathery, silvery-blue in color very much like silver spruce. Bright pink flower spikes are borne over much of the summer. Grows in sun or shade, and in wet or dry places.
