You won't find this delicious, nutritious blueberry in any supermarket. Bred by the USDA in the 1940's, Razz's fruit lacked the firmness needed for mechanical harvest in the commercial market so it was never introduced - until now! The plump, medium-to-large, powder-blue fruits are delectable for fresh eating and baking with unique raspberry overtones in their flavor. The robust 4 to 6 foot plants reliably bear good yields over several weeks beginning midsummer. Orange-red fall color makes it an attractive ornamental, too. Ideal for home gardeners, specialty markets and U-pick operations that enjoy something unique. Grow in loose, acid soil in full sun.
