A high quality red table grape developed in Minnesota that ripens early, up to 30 days before Concord, making it a good choice for shorter-season areas. Vines bear long clusters of medium to large, non-slipskin, firm, meaty grapes. Excellent dessert quality and they also make a nice white wine. Stores well. Needs winter protection in the far north.
