Fantastic flavor and Canadian hardiness. Originally hailing from Manitoba, Canada, this apple is said to be one of the best flavored hardy varieties available. The crisp, white flesh is succulently sweet and wonderful for fresh eating, cooking and storage. The medium to large fruits are yellow blushing to red where they're touched by the sun and ripen in mid September. Quite cold hardy with good disease resistance. Pollination partners: Wealthy or Northwestern Greening.
