I've purchased these products for a number of years and have generally been satisfied. However, for whatever reason the red candy onion plants tend to be smaller and as a result do not seem to grow as well as yellow or white. Their size also seems to increase lose of plants during the season.

These two day neutral onion hybrids performed extreamely well. Long time gardner, but kind of a novice to onion production. All I did was trim roots and tops -- buried them 1in deep in raised bed 6in apart all around -- Feed them twice with nitrate of soda -- fungicided at the 6th week of growth and voila! I had huge 4/5in globes in less than 3 months. Awesome aroma and sweet flavor!

I've been ordering these onion plants for a couple of years because I have found them to be the best. They grow consistenty, are the perfect medium size, taste great and store very well!

Have previously tried onion plants from local garden center (both bunches and those crammed into a 4 inch pot). None of those worked well, so tried Jung's bunches for 2012. Received in good planting time for our 4a garden, trimmed the tops per instructions & planted next day. Took 2 weeks for all to start looking good, and after that, really took off. I plant in wide bed, clay soil supplemented with peat moss & Espoma, in a 4-6 inch spacing all around. All except the very tiniest plants grew very well! They kept to December in 3-season porch, then we needed to chop & freeze. Highly Recommend!
