Asian Pears

Nothing surpasses the sweet, delicate flavor and crisp, juicy texture of home-grown Asian pears. Asian pears should be allowed to ripen on the tree for best quality. They are also attractive ornamental trees, typically growing 10 to 15 ft. high & wide. In the spring they produce an abundance of white flowers against large foliage glossy green foliage. Trees will usually bear fruit 2-3 years after planting. Our Asian pears are budded onto hardy rootstocks. Asian pears are not self-fruitful, so plant two varieties for proper cross-pollination. We ship 3-5-foot bareroot trees.
