Grow blueberries even in northern Wisconsin and upper Michigan. Harvest up to 20 pounds of fruit or more per year from mature plants that grow 3 to 4 feet tall and wide. The dark blue, small to medium size berries have rich, wild blueberry flavor with high sugar content that makes the best pies, muffins and pancakes. Fruit ripens early in the season. Blossoms will tolerate a light frost and branches hold up well under heavy snowfalls.
