Bright pink fruits are just as flavorful and high in healthful benefits as their blue-fruited cousins and can be used for fresh eating, baking and freezing. The ornamental 4 to 5 foot plants are covered with pale pink, bell-shaped flowers in spring and pink fruits from mid-July through August. Glossy green leaves become bright orange and scarlet in autumn. Culture is the same as other blueberries.

After reading many reviews and testing the soil, I bought this plant. It lived for 1 year never produced fruit and died. I would not recommend this for a zone 5. * Admin Notes added 4/1/2015 3:37:03 PM: Blueberries have fairly strict soil requirements to grow well and survive. It prefers a moist, well-drained soil rich in organic matter and requires an acidic soil (pH 4.5 to 5.5). Soil pH needs to be reduced in most areas to be suitable for growing blueberries.
