Zones 3-8 (P.P. 22174) This super-narrow arborvitae adds year-round interest to the landscape. Narrower than the ever popular Pyramidal arborvitae, North Pole maintains its narrow, columnar form without the need for heavy trimming and shaping. The trees are extremely hardy with dark green foliage that resists winter burn even in the coldest temperatures. Can be kept shorter with light trimming. Ht: 10-15'.

These arborvitae have been beautiful and hardy in my yard. Planted 5, then added 5 more in a spaced row along one side of my yard the following year. The growth rate has been 1-2 feet/year and they are now 6-8 feet tall. No major winter burn so far. Had an ice storm and did remove some ice to prevent damage that year. Would definitely plant again.
