Peony, Green Lotus

My husband and I have a small farm upon which we grow peonies for sale to the public, on the property and at Farmers Markets. I include this in the review so that the reader knows that we know peonies. I ordered this particular specialty peony as a treat for myself to put in my personal garden. The peony division was reasonably priced, delivered at the seasonally correct time, and in good shape. A normal commercial division has 3-5 eyes--each eye can be expected to produce a stalk the following year. The division we received was outstanding! It had 12 great looking eyes and plenty of root support for next years growth, yet trimmed up so we don't need to dig a gigantic hole. I was very pleasantly surprised and pleased. I was expecting to have to nurse my new peony along for a year or two before I got good results, but now I expect a great show next year! I never do reviews, but I was so impressed I had to do this one. Thank you Jung's! Review is based upon the division as shipped to me. I have yet to plant it and grow it, but I expect great results.
