He had no plant breeding experience, yet he cross-bred 4 varieties to develop this big, tasty tomato, sold 1000 plants at $1 each over six years and paid off his mortgage. The pink-skinned fruits are large and meaty averaging 2 to 4 lbs. Indeterminate vines.

Mortgage Lifters are the Best!

I've grown these from seed and grafted plants and the the grafted plants produce huge tomatoes. The tomatoes plants grown from seed will still produce large tomatoes perfect for eating fresh and canning.

These are THE BEST

These grafted tomatoes are SO VERY worth the money! I grew Mortgage Lifters from seed along side the grafted ones and the difference was phenomenal! The grafted tomatoes were far more robust, larger plants, and produced 2 or 3 times more of those delicious whole hand sized sweet tomatoes. Jung's does a wonderful job of getting healthy, good sized young plants to you in great condition - never wilted or broken stems as I have received from some other companies. I have been buying them every year for many years now.
