Flavorful, tender, high quality beans. This climbing French bean produces good crops of these golden-yellow beans that grow up to 10 inches long. Pods are well distributed along the vines and mature over an extended period. The flavor is superb and excellent for both fresh eating and canning or freezing. Highly resistant to Bean Common Mosaic Virus. Brown seeded.

Great flavor, we enjoyed near daily pickings with enough to share with friends from June to mid-October. Miss a picking and beans grow longer still tender and delicious. This if year five growing Monte Cristo.

A good yellow pole bean

This is a good tasting yellow bean that's pretty consistent. We always plant pole beans, no-bend picking!! And they are just as good as bush beans. Plant in succession to lengthen your season.

Low Harvest

Planted monte gusto last summer. This variety did not produce much beans for me. Vines were good put no enough bean growth.
