(37 Day) Exceptionally early and slow to bolt. Bulbs are light green outside with juicy, white flesh that is crisp yet tender. The flavor is superb and best when harvested at 2 to 3 inches in diameter. Eating quality holds for a long time in the garden with no trace of woodiness.

Easy to grow, flavorful veggie

Have grown Quickstar for a few years now. Took time to get our farmers market customers to stop asking "what's that?", but now we have no trouble selling these. They are easy to grow, mature quickly, stay pickable for a fairly decent length of time and have a good taste.
