Pepper, Hot, Garden Salsa Hybrid

In 2024 basically all of my head started plants failed when I went on vacation. I came back home in a panic and my Dad gave me some of these seeds in order to have something to grow. They are so incredibly productive I will be growing them every year from now on. They pickled very well and I fermented them with a mix of jalapenos at the end of the season and they made a fantastic hotsauce. I highly recommend them.

These peppers were given to me as a free sample with my order, and I will be repurchasing again this season. Germination rate was excellent and I grew them in 3 gallon pots all summer. They fruited phenomenally. They had a nice kick to them, and were really good in salsa, pickled, raw, and in any other dish I could think to put them in. I was very impressed.

These peppers are so good! I grew them for the first time in my 2023 garden, and they had the best flavor of all of my pepper varieties by far! Their flavor is very similar to a bell pepper with just a touch more. If you cut them up and remove the seeds they are perfect when added to summer salads in the place of bell peppers, or in tacos, fajitas, etc. I found them to have an almost mild flavor when I let them fully ripen to red, and liked their more abundant flavor when harvested green. One thing that surprised me was their size. They grew to around 8-10" long on average and some reached almost a poblano pepper size. Would highly recommend to someone who is looking for a pepper variety that isn't too spicy, but isn't too sweet either!
