Excellent Pumpkin

Every year this pumpkin has done well for us. It ripens in time for the August fair. The stems stay strong and firm. They grow nice and big every year even during unfavorable weather. We like the dark orange color on the outside. They even keep well in my basement for months after being used for the fair and porch decorations until Thanksgiving when I make them into pie. The pie has a lighter color than some, but the taste is good.

These pumpkins did fantastic even against the squash bugs and powdery mildew. I had multiple pumpkins weighing 60+ pounds and many that are 20 - 30. Beautiful vibrant orange color and nice and tall.

Great producing pumpkin

I grew 2 hills with 2 plants to a hill. They produced lots of 30 pound pumpkins. This pumpkin is also good for pie making. Lots of flesh inside to work with.
