Long slim tubers with flavor all their own. Brought to this country by early German settlers, the finger-like tubers are about 1 inch in diameter and 2 to 4 inches long. Skin and flesh are yellow and the flavor is delicious. Boil with the skins on and cut up to use in salads. They are also delicious fried. Matures midseason.
