I canned 50 quarts of grape juice off of 3 vines this fall! They are very vigorous.

Fast and easy Growing! Great along a fence for privacy.

They came about 18" tall, basically twigs with roots.. Planted them on a drip system with full sun in May. As of today (august 11) they are about 4 ft tall and the vines are reaching out to about 8 ft wide. There are two of them though that aren't growing as fast, maybe just 2 ft tall and 1 ft wide. I planted 10 of them to hopefully produce enough grapes for some wine next year!

Healthy and happy
Jun 16, 2023  |  By Aaron Heward
I ordered four bare root grapes. I was a little concerned because this was my first time ordering from this supplier. The communication was a little sparse between me and them. I wasn't really sure when they were going to arrive. Once they arrived. I didn't get them right in the ground. I planted them about two days after arrival. They looked like twigs with roots. One had a small bud on the stem. After a month of being planted and consistent water they are about a foot tall and started producing the beginnings of grapes. I could not be happier with my plants. I'm curious to see how they do over the winter. We have pretty harsh long winters in Idaho.
