(P.P.24811) Named "Double Gold" because warmer zones can get two crops of berries. In Zones 5 and warmer where the canes may overwinter, this variety will fruit on the previous year's growth, giving you berries in summer and again in fall. In Zone 4, treat as a fall bearing variety and cut the canes back to the ground after a killing frost. The sweetly flavored, medium size berries have a firm texture and a color that is quite unique - golden champagne flushed with pink. Recommended for home gardens and pick-your-own farms. Freezes well.
