Light green fruits have sweet, fine-textured, juicy flesh with a delicate aroma and flavor. A favorite for winter storage, the fruits ripen toward the end of September but develop their best flavor after at least 2 months in cold storage. Productive, early bearing trees are moderately resistant to fire blight. Heirloom. Zones: 5-8. BR

Cross-pollination with another pear is recommended. We suggest Bartlett, Bosc or Seckel.
