Bearss Lime Tree

Now almost anyone can grow their own limes. These attractive, self-fertile plants produce an abundance of greenish-yellow, seedless fruits that grow almost as big as lemons. The fruits are very juicy and excellent for your favorite drinks and recipes. These dwarf trees rarely grow more than 5 feet tall and are perfect for growing in large pots. In Northern locations, enjoy your lime outside in a location with at least a half day of sun during spring, summer and fall. Before the first frost, bring your lime inside to a well-lit room for the winter. Begins producing fruit in 1 to 2 years.
