For the peony enthusiast who wants something different. This 'Intersectional or Itoh' hybrid peony is prized for its double and semi-double lemony scented blooms that can be up to 8 " across. Their color is pastel lemon-yellow with occasional red flares at the center, neatly spaced at the top and sides of the sturdy 30-36" plants. Resists peony blight. Blooms for up to 6 weeks in late spring. American Peony Society Gold Medal Winner.
